Our Emotional Landscape Concerning Money – A Workshop for Fundraisers and Fund Managers

When it comes to money, fundraisers experience a variety of reactions from those in their constellation, and we are often unaware of our own biases.

Come explore these questions in a safe environment: What stories did you learn about money growing up? How do these stories affect your habits? How does your relationship to money affect the choices you make within your work? We’ll discuss the narratives we seldom question, that impact our ability to bring resources to our work.

Race in the For-Impact Sector – A Conversation

Join Laura Johnson and I for a living room conversation about race issues within our nonprofits. We limit our sessions to no more than 12 participants at a time, and conversation topics range from micro-aggression in the workplace to navigating decisions about unethical donors.

Learn, share and strategize with other nonprofit professionals from a variety of sectors in this safe, small group setting. Topics are chosen ahead of time. Must actively work in  a nonprofit organization to be considered.

This workshop has been held in local and international spaces, with audiences of change makers, social entrepreneurs and high net worth investors.

This course now features co-facilitation by Nicole Concinnity (of Concinnity Counseling) who brings a social justice-based therapy lens to this work, framing our conversation in class, gender, family of origin, and race.
